Praises and Prayer Requests

My friend Sara who had the corneal transplant is doing great. She’s back to work with full vision. Praise the Lord!

This weekend I had the opportunity to witness a Dare 2 Share conference. Seeing teens get fired up about sharing the gospel with their friends and family and actually being taught practical strategies for doing it was pretty incredible. I will probably write more about this at some point, but for now just keep those kids in prayer.

Lastly, a reminder to be thankful for all God’s blessings. Yesterday, as part of D2S, I joined a few teenagers who set out to talk about the gospel with anyone willing to talk. They met a homeless man named Donald and talked with him a long while. Donald has lived in a tent for three years. So if you’re like me and have a roof over your head tonight, and don’t have to worry about where your next meal is coming from, thank God for his blessings and pray for those who don’t.

About Julia

Here's what you might like to know about me. My name is Julia and I'm a Christian. I love the Bible and, much less importantly, a good steak. My goal with this site is to share the truth of scripture with believer and non-believer alike, and to specifically encourage believers to study and know the Bible, and warn them of false teachings in and around the church. Romans 1:16-17 "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, the just shall live by faith."
