Two Great Sermons in Less Than an Hour

Got 40-50 minutes?

After listening to music on my commute for a couple of days, I settled on sermons for this morning’s drive. And in the 40-50 minute total drive time I was able to listen to two awesome ones that I know will challenge, convict and edify you if you can make the time for them. Both are proof that biblical preaching can be powerful even when it is brief.

The first was preached by Dr. James White. His sermon “Run With Endurance The Race” is from Hebrews 12:1-2. This 33 minute sermon is convicting. I think it will especially resonate with runners and cyclists, but is really one that everyone should listen to.

The second sermon comes at the end of the September 13 Fighting for the Faith episode. in the last 15 minutes or so of this episode, Vicar Sheek preaches about the narrow gate that leads to heaven.

About Julia

Here's what you might like to know about me. My name is Julia and I'm a Christian. I love the Bible and, much less importantly, a good steak. My goal with this site is to share the truth of scripture with believer and non-believer alike, and to specifically encourage believers to study and know the Bible, and warn them of false teachings in and around the church. Romans 1:16-17 "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, the just shall live by faith."
