Parting Christmas Thoughts

My parents have already taken down the Christmas decorations, and it is probably a mere matter of days before I’ll pack up my own. I love the season and the lights and ornaments so much and packing it up is always a little sad. But joy remains when I remember that God’s gift to us of Jesus didn’t end with Christmas, it ended with his resurrection, after he died for my sins. After he demonstrated such incredible love and mercy for you and for me. So as the decorations come down and we return to our routines, let’s think about God’s grace and keep the joy that comes from accepting God’s gift which began with the incarnation, but did not end there.

About Julia

Here's what you might like to know about me. My name is Julia and I'm a Christian. I love the Bible and, much less importantly, a good steak. My goal with this site is to share the truth of scripture with believer and non-believer alike, and to specifically encourage believers to study and know the Bible, and warn them of false teachings in and around the church. Romans 1:16-17 "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, the just shall live by faith."
