Podcast Recommendations: Gary Gilley on Church Trends and Preaching the Gospel to Christians

This week I have two great podcasts to recommend.

The first is from the Stand Up for the Truth radio program with Mike LeMay and Amy Spreeman. A couple days ago they brought Pastor Gary Gilley on their show to discuss church marketing and branding, the seeker sensitive church movement and a few others things. Especially if you don’t have the time to read Gilley’s fantastic book, This Little Church Went to Market, I advise you to listen to this short program. Although less in depth, I think he does an excellent job of communicating the way modern marketing techniques are not the right way to develop a church.

The second is an audio recording of a panel discussion on preaching the gospel to Christians that took place at the Liberate 2015 conference. Chris Rosebrough, Tullian Tchividjian, Dr. Rod Rosenbladt and Daniel Price discuss this important topic.

About Julia

Here's what you might like to know about me. My name is Julia and I'm a Christian. I love the Bible and, much less importantly, a good steak. My goal with this site is to share the truth of scripture with believer and non-believer alike, and to specifically encourage believers to study and know the Bible, and warn them of false teachings in and around the church. Romans 1:16-17 "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, the just shall live by faith."
